Zixia Cheng is a production designer, set dresser and editor who’s passionate about film production and creative story telling.

From Beijing to New York, Zixia is committed to delivering exceptional work that resonates with audiences. Zixia’s production design work Alone (18 mins) tells a story about a old lady who tries to live in a foreign city - this film also been nominated at USA film festival, 2023. A Shared Table (15 mins), the film she set dressed tells a story of a dilemma of a wife and mother, which was featured at MOMI’s short film screening.

Zixia also directed Lucky Shot (12 mins), a short film about a girl breaks into her friend’s apartment was selected to screen in SVA’s thesis selects festival. Her film The Date (5 mins), which is about a girl’s temptation for sabotaging her crush’s first date was selected to screen in SVA’s sophomore selects festival. Zixia is familiar with the production progress can be flexible under high pressure environment. Her passion towards entertainment production drives her to create new artworks. Her foundation of illustration also add vivid style to her work.
